PRODUCT DETAILS
Black rhodium is a rare and precious metal, belonging to the platinum group of metals. Its scarcity contributes significantly to its high price. Rhodium, in general, is known for its remarkable resistance to corrosion and tarnishing, making it a desirable choice for plating jewelry.
The black rhodium plating involves a meticulous process to achieve the glossy black finish, adding to its uniqueness. The rarity of black rhodium, coupled with the specialized techniques required for its application, contributes to the elevated cost of jewelry featuring this material. The exclusivity and distinctive aesthetic it imparts to the pieces further enhance their value in the market.
These exquisite pieces of jewelry go beyond their material value, as each one is meticulously handcrafted by skilled goldsmiths in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The craftsmanship and attention to detail by these artisans add a personal touch, making each piece a unique work of art. The combination of rare black rhodium plating and the dedication of local artisans not only contributes to their high price but also enhances their sentimental and artistic value.
Each piece includes a free 16ga threadless backing
RETURNS
Returns Policy
Due to the nature of our products all jewelry sales are FINAL unless there is a manufacturing defect. Tribal Expression offers a lifetime warranty on all our Tribal Made or in-house-made jewelry. All other jewelry will be covered under the warranty of that particular brand. If the jewelry you bought was defective, first contact us with a photo of the jewelry, defect and proof of purchase . if we feel that it may be defective we will ask that you send it back via mail. The piece will be sent back to the manufacturer and destroyed, repaired or replaced. Any defective jewelry will not be accepted at the studio.... All defective jewelry must be contained a plastic bag and be mailed to us at the customers expense. Otherwise, according to Alberta Health Board Regulations, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on ANY body jewelry that has left the studio.
Items cannot be returned if: The wrong item was purchased, You no longer want the jewelry; this applies to all jewelry but, specifically to custom orders, You received the jewelry as a gift and it was an incorrect size or style. We will always recommend buying a gift certificate to avoid this issue, Due to daily “wear and tear” the threaded beads on body jewelry can sometimes unscrew so checking your threaded pieces to ensure they are not coming loose is essential as Tribal Expression does NOT warranty lost jewelry. This should be done at least once or twice a week with clean hands. Simply grab the disk at the back of the labret and twist the bead; lefty loosey, righty tighty! Jewelry that is unthreaded or a “push pin” style does not have to be tightened as it will not unthread. But, they can be pulled out if snagged so be extremely cautious as again, Tribal Expression does NOT warranty lost jewelry. You can check these pieces by placing your pointer finger on the bead and your thumb on the disc of the labret post and gently pinching them together. Threadless ends that are returned to us with the pin broken off will be taken care of according to the manufacturer’s warranty. Please keep in mind the more you handle your jewelry the more likely that beads will unthread from posts or pop out of captive bead rings so rule number one is always: HANDS OFF!!! Our client’s satisfaction is extremely important to us, if for any reason you are unhappy with a service we have provided please feel free to contact the studio and speak with our management team. We will always work with our clients to rectify any situation.Related Products
